A largely instrumental krautrock band from that hotbed of motorik groove and psychedelic soundscapes, Finland. Siinai have just released their debut album Olympic Games on Splendour Records, and it's an interesting listen. You can stream the tracks on Soundcloud - http://soundcloud.com/dgrmusic/sets/siinai-olympic-games

There's a number of reviews on the web, which tend to be mixed, either positive or less so. I enjoyed it, some thought it was unfocussed or a bit shoegazey. Whether you enjoy it or not (and obviously I hope you do Smile), I guess the question is more whether it's prog or not. I think it is and could fit in Kraut or Psych.

Done ! Yes, very promising band, reminiscence of Neu ! L.A Düsseldorf at their most inspiring moments with a subtle post-rockin touch. Relevant candidate for the archives ;-)
