The annual extravaganza of music at The Lounge Bar, Alton.

Charity fund raiser for the youth projects and care for the elderly which are both based at Alton Community Centre.

This year we are having a slight change of plan and widening the genres and scope of interest for music lovers in the area. We have this gig as a fundraiser and so appealing to as many fans as possible is clearly our aim for raising as much money as we can. There will be two stages as always-one Rock/Metal and one Alternative. The day will start with showcasing our favourites from the acoustic gigs we have been running to ease us into the day's music slowly.

For those that don't like other genres of music-appreciate a cigarette break after your favourite band and get into the spirit of the day!

Bands so far include: (not playing order)

MONUMENTS

Fresh from Euroblast, Alton will be staging another exclusive with the first UK show of the new line-up that Monuments are going to be rocking our worlds with.
A band with a sterling reputation in the music scene, this should be a show well worth coming to see. Prog metal with a definite kick and groove, this is a show that the bar can't wait to see!

Check them out in all their glory here:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AR:
On tour with Entro-P in November, fine metal making a debut at the bar:

Blood Of The Spectre:
Heavy and unrelenting, they are making great headway in the local area:

Bloodshot Dawn:
Brutal Southern metal at it's finest:

Chapter Eleven:
A trio producing thoughtful acoustic wonderment:

Cubrik:
One of the best bands ever to be created by mathematical calculations:

Darko:
Fast, furious and in your face punk:

Dave Hall:
Alton's Dick Van Dyke duo air some of their many talents:

EnTro-P:
Some of the best prog metal this bar sees. OR hears:

Harrison:
Punk acoustic with a dry humour and no sense of propriety:

Ikari:
Lonesome without their metrosexual frontman, expect instrumentals and guest vocalists that will melt your fa(e)ces.

Mask Of Judas:
Heavy, technical, scary and lovely; all at once

Pilot X:
Making a debut, expect a prog, post-rock haze:

Redness In The West:
Debuting a new member at this gig. A bit grunge, a bit rock, a bit weird.

Shadowboxer:
Soulful singing combined with atmospheric writing and musicianship to turn green at. Beautiful music.

Sinuism:
Heavy, rhythmic and unrelenting. Metal with a side-serving of sexy.

Smokey b*****d:
New to the bar, folk punk and a show to remember:

Stu Farrington:
Rocky acoustic from the lead singer of The Deadnights:

Sumer:
Groove-laden, technical and heavy. Like swollen ball bags.
