Yesterday I was listening to Isis- Oceanic, then I scrolled thorough my Ipod and chose Nektar – A tab in the Ocean. Only when I started listening I noticed, “oh, another album with Ocean in the title”, ... so that’s how got the idea for my oceanic poll. I only included releases I have in my collection, I know there are more oceanic albums out there ...

I've gone for 'Eloy', though I could have gone Isis too

I'd opt for the band "The Ocean" and their album Precambrian

Not a fan of the ocean albums in this list but Tales from topographic oceans has its moments

I would also call up Jean-Luc Ponty's Enigmatic Ocean ... as for the list it's hard for me to decide between Eloy and Nektar ... Roye Albrighton and his mates to come to an end Smile

Nice poll, voted Tales.

Did want to put in a good word for the song, "The Ocean," on Led Zep's 'Houses of the Holy' -- a bracing, good-timey rocker.
