I'm still needing a little time to let these two sink in a little.

I think this poll will run about 50-50. Perhaps Grace should recuse itself as it has both Steves on it. LOL

Eh, I'm a fanboy of both.  I got the deluxe Wilson and the double deluxe of Hackett with an autograph and a t-shirt. Embarrassed

They took forever to arrive in the mail.  I was like a kid at Christmas.

Wilson!
Mikael Akerfeldt for fans of Opeth who don't like his growls (and generally the growls): If they don't like it then they are pussies.

Extreme prog metal rules!!!

I love Hackett, but Grace for Drowning is brilliant.

Both are great albums, but the slight edge goes to Grace for Drowning for me

They're both great, but Grace for Drowning is just on an otherworldly level.

I like both very much, but Hackett definitely needs more support

I give the edge to Steve for having more range in the music than Steven.  I'd also note that neither album is particularly groundbreaking.  Lots of themes each has covered before.

I ripped and combined each album with the bonus materials into two sprawling monster albums.  Take that you short attention spanners and proclaimers of fillerses. Tongue

This is exactly how I feel. Both very, very good albums, but not groundbreaking material, or anything that would make them a real classic or masterpiece
