That clip is awesome!!! Wow.....I am really looking forward to this release.
BTW will there be a vinyl edition? I see those two cd releases on the raig site, but nothing else. It's just that I bought the double vinyl version of Subkraut with the blue records(major yummy), and I would like to make that into a tradition. That is, keep buying Vespero for my turntable

Superb! Stay tuned for the VESPERO's upcoming "Droda" album (scheduled for July 2013). This is very serious work in the vein of the "Surpassing All Kings" and "By the Waters of Tomorrow" albums

By The Waters Of Tomorrow is my fave Vespero so far, so that sounds absolutely amazing!

I know I asked before, but here goes again: will there be a vinyl copy of Droga at some point?Big smile

R.A.I.G. is proud to present :: Digital release of "Droga", the 5th studio album by the Russian premier space-art-rock act VESPERO. This is all instrumental eclectic prog-rock with traces of Southern Russia’s ethnic music and jazz-fusion, though the presence of space-kraut-psychedelic elements is still very strong.

As far as the "Droga" vinyl LP is concerned... The point is that there are no vinyl manufacturing plants in Russia. So, R.A.I.G. can't produce the vinyl version by its own. It could be published only by other record-label in Europe. We're working out a license deal at the moment.

Hi Gregor.
You guys might check out the Brain label as well as Paradiso. Seems to me that they are trying to do something akin much to the way Vespero approaches progressive psychedelic music

This is a video footage of the VESPERO's recent concert at the Theatre Artists Union in Astrakhan on October 11. Performed is "Proton Interceptor", new and yet unheard composition. With the addition of the violinist and second drummer, that performance featured VESPERO's new 6-piece line-up.

Also, the remaining 7 copies of VESPERO "Cello Liventures" (R.A.I.G. Records, AT052) are still in stock. This album is not mentioned at the Vespero's PA discogrsphy - don't know why.... Hi,

have not had the chance to hear this yet, but ... seeing so many different things put together in these comments ... all I can think of is ... a mess!

Scary! Hopefully it will be better than that, but I find it weird that we can only describe music by using someone else's .... I don't see anyone describing Bartok by using Stravinsky or Beethoven ... just plain weird!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

NEW RELEASE!

about«... The Azmari are singers and musicians wandering through the territory of Ethiopia. They carry the stories of different worlds, the sagas of mysterious seas, of lush whispering trees high in the skies, of the flowers blooming in the clouds, of flying islands, of the demoted Ethiopian Princes and their doubles ... " by chronicler Tekle - Ēzānā (1698)

"Azmari: Abyssanian Liventure" is a new live album from the VESPERO`s "Liventure" series. Recorded live on 05.15.2015 at "The Union of Theatre Artists", Astrakhan, “Azmari” shows the power of live performances of the septet. Contains the highlights from "Lique Mekwas" (R.A.I.G., 2016) , stuff from “Droga” (R.A.I.G., 2013) and “By the Waters of Tomorrow” (R.A.I.G., 2010), and one yet unpublished composition.
