Not really much of a surprise considering their current track record but still, it's nice to have it in writing.
Rikard's productivity doesn't seem to have an end to it.

Hey Darkshade, you're spot on! `Mammoth' was another great album from them!

I'm still very conflicted about that one! They released it on both vinyl (which I usually prefer to buy my prog albums on), and CD/DVD (which came with a `making of' and a live performance), which was the one I chose! The live footage was sensational!!

But every time I see that beautiful `Mammoth' cover, I think `Damn, maybe should have got the vinyl!'

Yea I like the style of their last 2 album covers, I hope they use that again on the new one.

Mammoth was great, but it didn't top their masterpiece, Destined Solitaire.

Solitaire, to me, is much more interesting and varied. Plus the artwork is miles past Mammoth. I actually prefer the artwork in this order..
Solitaire > Sleeping in Traffic 2 > Mammoth > Sleeping in Traffic 1

Destined Solitaire was a little too all over the place. I was really disappointed. Haven't heard Mammoth yet, it's not on Spotify :/

Have to agree. In Destined Solitaire, I always get the impression that music is trying to contain Beardfish, but it can't. You know what I mean?

That reminds me of Bedlam by TMV or Killing Technology by Voivod.

NOOOOO, i didn't like it too much! They need to go back to their quirky, and ECLECTIC roots.

Still think Destined Solitaire is their best album, and one of the best albums of the millennium.

Seems like they're going down the heavier road they started down on mammoth. Not that I mind - music sounds good so far (based on a singles YouTube video of an audience recording listened via iPhone speakers). Might not live up to Destined Solitaire, but then again, Yes never did anything as good as Relayer afterwards but that didn't stop them from making more great records.

Seconded. To me "The Sane Day" is by far their best album. Subsequent albums are but mere second-rate copies of it. IMO of course!

I don't have a problem with it, per se, I like it well enough ... I just like the other albums I've heard from them better.
