A very interesting new Italian band (definitely not for RPI though) who've released their debut on Black Widow records Le Maschere Di Clara may appeal to fans of the likes of Giant Squid, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum etc though they certainly aren't metal. A violin, bass and drums line-up makes a surprisingly visceral sound.

The energy of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum mixed with the indo-influence of Secret Chiefs 3... sounds like the perfect fir for avant. I'll alert the team.
