I'm not very into either band, but I like the Anglagard that I've heard more.

It's not exactly the same, but some time ago someone here made a World Cup including all the most important prog bands (pre and post 70's), which ended up being monopolized by 70's bands. If my memory doesn't betray me King Crimson won that one. So I don't plan on doing such thing for 70's bands. At least not for now.

However, I do have another idea for a future World Cup. Perhaps I will rest a little from making polls once this one ends, though.

BTW, this pre and post 70's bands discussion got me thinking...what ever happened to Walter (a.k.a. "Post 89' Music Sucks")?

He got banned, I believe. I can't say that I miss him. The humor of his posts went away pretty quickly.

Anglagard for sure, even if only for Hybris

Love both... Voted Anekdoten for the sake of continuity...
I look up, I'm almost blinded

by the warmth of what's inside me

and the taste that's in my soul,

but I'm dead inside as I stand alone...

Maybe thingsīll change regarding this poll then.

Nice to see a resurgence of those 90s bands coming together making new stuff. Iīm so looking forward to the new Discipline release. I hope Mr. Parmenter and friends will blow my socks off!

Anglagard has some songs done and are presently working on completing the album. Can't wait !  They're coming to America in 2012 and no doubt will be playing a lot of the new stuff.

Better be TMV Colin, seeing the only thing you dislike are the vocals.

Anekdoten have a more interesting sound, and as much as I love the two Anglagard albums I like all of Anekdoten's albums just as much. So Anekdoten for me.
