Relayer.  I still haven't really been able to get into Glass House.  Though in a prog community, that can probably be seen as a compliment.

Two albums I really like whilst not quite being my favourite from the band in either case.

In a Glass House gets it by a whisker. But I wouldn't have said so 30 years ago when i disliked GG intensely and was a bit of a Yes fanboy!
I have many faults. Being wrong is not one of them.

Relayer. Both albums are great, I love Glass House; but only one of those albums has Gates of Delirium.

Alan, I'm kinda surprised to learn you're a GG fan. What's your favorite album?

But Gates of Delirium destroys most other music anyway.

In a Glass House: 5 stars
Relayer: 4.5 / 5-.

In a Glass House is a tough one to get into, but this will be well rewarded.

Relayer is the best Yes Album.

IaGH is one of my least favorite GG albums.

I didn't find In a Glass House difficult to get into, and that was before I was exploring the more experimental/ out there so-called "prog" music (twas near the beginning of the revival of my interest in progressive rock music -- just a  couple of years before I joined this site).

I'm kind of the opposite of Hercules.  I got into GG immediately, but subsequently my enthusiasm waned .  I still like GG, but over the last  five or so years I have very rarely played it.  I have GG albums on my iPod and sometimes put my iPod on shuffle, and it is the only one on there that i regularly skips tracks from.  I was still a fanboy when i joined this site.

Yes was a band I was very into as a  teenager (especially for Fragile), but have barely played since then.

Relayer may be my favourite Yes album, but IaGH wins. One of my favourite albums for riffs.
