New album on the way with the original foursome, and a worldwide tour to follow in the second half of 2012. According to their official website. Just in case anyone might be interested in that little tidbit.

..... announced on the same day as it was announced that 94 % of the top 20 musicians are aged 40 and above. In Black Sabbath, all members have free bus passes and statuary nursing/home help offers from their local councils.

That says everything about the music business now.

But rock on, guys. Clap

YES!!!!
I saw them live at the Roskilde Festival in 1998, though with Appice on drums, but it was phenomenal! 85.000 people screaming along to Ironman. One of the best concert experiences I´ve had in my life.

I bet that their twitter account had been hacked and that is another joke.

Frankly, I can't even think of the original line-up touring and recording again: after seeing the Osbournes' tricks, I would even prefer Iommi, Butler and their drummer (Ward again? really???) touring with Tony Martin!

As much as they were an important part of my yoof, I tend to think the same.

I doubt anyone cares much about the new album... it seems like they main reason for this would be the concerts, and I'll definitely see them if they come close to me

Exactly.....for me, it is about seeing some of these legendary musicians live.......10yrs from now I can still listen to the album, but not the group live.

That's nice (Sharon makes sure Ozzie keeps raking in the $$$Smile
More exciting news was reading Peter Gabriel would get back together with Genesis "if the project was right it could happen." Keeping hope alive.
