Thanks, done! And all album pages from both artists have been upgraded.

Brilliant! Clap

The next four from the list are relatively straightforward, and are ready to post if you want them straight away. Otherwise I'll keep them back until Monday as I stated originally. Smile

It seems from that link that this was a collection of lots of short pieces, with Ryo playing them all solo.
So:
No individual track times available, but Total time 34:00

- Ryo Okumoto / Keyboards

CD Victor Entertainment - VICL-60460 (1999, Japan)
------------------------------------------------------------------

A distillation of the heavier parts of the "Legend" sessions - featuring alternate mixes and versions of 8 songs from the Legend double album, a non-album track, and 6 lost (all-instrumental) rehearsal tracks from Joe's previous prog-metal band Spectrum Green.

1. Troubled X (5:39)
2. Armageddon (4:59)
3. Out Of The Mist (2:50)
4. For The World Is Hollow (5:06)
5. Soldier's Lament (2:08)
6. Proverbs 14:12 (aka Femme Arme) (5:46)
7. Nightshift Blues (4:32)
8. Sorrow's Might (6:30)
9. Aristotle's Lantern (4:27)
SPECTRUM GREEN BONUS TRACKS
10. Intro (2:53)
11. Ol' Reliable (5:28)
12. Corporate Pig (4:26)
13. Changing Thoughts (3:43)
14. Sympathy For A Whore (5:44)
15. Concerto Of The Damned (3:33)
16. The Jester (3:05)

Total time 70:49

So, Legend sessions line-up for tracks 1-9 of this 'Lazarus Project' release, taken from the PA page for the Legend Album itself:

- Joe Dell / organ, keyboards, bass, sampling, vocals
- Matt Schwarz / guitars, bass, flute, harp, vocals
- Gary Rinaldi / drums
With:
- Annie Dell / vocals
- Tony Renda / bass
- Gary Luhrman / bass
- Jennifer Scott / violins
- Lisa Thompson / flutes
- Luigi Iorio / backing vocals
- Danny Lee / backing vocals
- Ernie Iodaci / backing vocals
- Ana Morales / backing vocals
- Abu Akhmed / backing vocals

Spectrum Green featured Joe Dell on piano, organ and synth; Gary 'Soldier' Luhrman on bass; Mike 'BBB' Allen on guitar; and John 'Breezy' Brezinski on drums. See product description here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001TD6X1W/.

So, for the Spectrum Green tracks 10-16 of the 'Lazarus Project' album:

- Joe Dell / piano, organ, synth
- Gary 'Soldier' Luhrman / bass
- Mike 'BBB' Allen / guitar
- John 'Breezy' Brezinski / drums

CD CDBaby (2009, US)

Edit: Some confusion exists regarding the year of release. We currently have 2008, Spotify has 2008, YouTube has 2008 (and it seems that the uploader shjoed may well be Joe Dell himself), Apple Music has 2009, Amazon has 2009, and eBay also has 2009.

For the CD especially, I'd tend to go with 2009. Maybe it was available digitally before then? I don't know. I don't trust Spotify much, but if that shjoed YouTube user really is Joe Dell - and it certainly looks like it to me - then I really don't know what to say! LOL I'm guessing the the Lazarus Project mixes of the tracks were actually recorded in 2008, but not released on CD until 2009.
Thanks, done! And all album pages from both artists have been upgraded.

Better to write that these listings couldn't be verified at this time.

https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=32397: Piero Ranalli on bass and Mino Vitelli on drums left the band after the first album, so the core line up was most likely:
- L'ex Luthor / guitar, voices
- Gabin / bass, keyboards
- Herb-ert / drums
- El Cote/ drums

I have found a review of the "Ora E Sempre" album on progressor.net today, which gives the full line up as:

- L'ex Luthor / guitar, sampling
- Gabin / bass
- Herbert / drums
With:
- Giulio / vocals
- Ehenio / vocals
- Silvia / vocals
- Gandalf / whistle
- Alessandro Paci /drums

The perkele.it article about the album talks about Ebenio, Giulio and Nua on male vocals (as well as Silvia on female vocals), so there is still some doubt that this is the absolutely definite full line-up for recordings which make up the album.

I'm really not sure whether Herbert or Herb-ert is correct for the drummer's name. The few sites other than PA who have any info about this band all seem to omit the hyphen, but the PA biography seemed to be pretty accurate in other respects, so I kept this hyphenated spelling in all the line-ups which feature him. Now I'm not so sure though.

Also, the existing line-up that is included for the 'Ora E Sempre' album on PA credits Gabin with keyboards as well as bass, so I duplicated that for all the other albums which feature him, but the progressor review doesn't mention any keyboards, and neither does the perkele.it article about the album which I linked to before, so I'd be tempted to remove keyboards from Gabin in all the album line-ups which feature him (which is all oof them except the first one). All the electronic sounds on 'Ora E Sempre' are apparently provided by L'ex Luthor's 'sampling', so it's quite likely that this also applied to the other albums too, so maybe we should write "- L'ex Luthor / guitar, voices, sampling" on those other pages too?

One other minor matter - the 'Ora E Sempre' album has "Thanks to ? for the addition" instead of your name for some strange reason.

The line-up for the live album would presumably be the same as for the other year 2000 releases, so the musicians on that page are correct, but there is now the doubt about Gabin playing keyboards on any of the albums, and L'ex Luthor probably providing sampling as well as guitar and voices on them, so perhaps it does need slight editing.

I'll leave the final decision regarding what to remove, change or add to the various album pages entirely up to you though. Nothing seems 100% certain, I'm afraid, since there is so little info available to really be able to confirm anything. There is a myspace page for the band, which prior to the revamp in June 2013 would probably have had a good deal of information about them, but the wayback machine only has a snapshot of the new design, and everything from the old myspace site would have been lost from it.

God, I hate this band...and I've never even listened to them! LOL

And... thanks again, done again! Now I don't want to listen to them either... Tongue

See also

All are by Perizona Experiment and need looking at.

The founding members were L'ex Luthor (guitar), Piero Ranalli (bass) and Mino Vitelli (drums) - with Il Mùghen (guitar) and El Cote (drums) completing the initial line up. They signed with independent label Skunk Records and released their debut album 'Perizona Experiment' in 1999.

Piero and Mino left after this album was released, to join Areknamés, and were replaced by Gabin on bass and Herb-ert on drums. From what is written here about their official debut album Ora È Sempre from 2006, and here about their final release from 2008, it appears that this line up was stable from 2001 right up to the end, so I see no reason why it can't be included for the 5 releases from 2001 onwards above as a core line-up. There were "many collaborators" involved along the way though, so in all cases we have to say: "The complete line-up of guest musicians cannot be verified at this time. If you have information please contact the site", or something similar.

From the first of those two links:

"The last studio effort of the Perizona Experiment dates back to 2006, and goes to thicken the copious discography of the great group from Pescara, which we must remember already has a dozen publications behind it, including full-length, unofficial demos and live albums, and knowing about the complete works means entering into the reading of the volumes of a complete encyclopedia of the psychonaut - from the 'contaminated' space rock of the first records, passing through the subsequent wide-ranging psychedelic research contained in "Kuxan Suum" and "Hunab Ku", up to to “Ora È Sempre”, probably the most ambitious work, which encompasses accessible (but elaborate) rock and avant-garde tout cour. In addition, the lineup is stable on the ex Luthor (guitars, samples, other) and Gabin (bass), the drummers Herbert and Alessandro Paci, as well as the superb singer Silvia and the various male voices of Ebenio, Giulio and Nua. At the mixer we find Marco Ranalli (Insider) as usual, who also intervenes in some guitar scores. the diskette.
The material and ideas that make up "Ora È Sempre" were conceived in the five-year period 2001-2005, but never published on other CDs."

- L'ex Luthor / guitar, voices
- Il Mùghen / guitar
- Piero Ranalli / bass
- Mino Vitelli  / drums
- El Cote / drums

It seems that El Cote was replaced on drums by Alessandro Paci, and Il Mùghen on second guitar also left the band in between the releases in 2000, and those in 2001, so for the albums:

the core line-up would most likely have been

- L'ex Luthor / guitar, voices
- Gabin / bass, keyboards
- Herb-ert / drums
- El Cote/ drums

For the albums from 2001 onwards:

it would probably have been:

- L'ex Luthor / guitar, voices
- Gabin / bass, keyboards
- Herb-ert / drums
- Alessandro Paci / drums

Discogs only lists the 'Ora E' Sempre' official release from 2006 for the band: https://www.discogs.com/release/4422267-Perizona-Experiment-Ora-E-Sempre, so I guess these other albums aren't too important in the grand scheme of things if the info we have for them is incomplete or perhaps not entirely accurate.

RYM just has three releases: https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/perizona_experiment, but no info for any of them.

There is more info about the 'Ora E' Sempre' official debut album here, but for three of the albums on PA we have no tracklists at all, and a fourth album has the names of the tracks but no timings.

A book called 'A Fistful Of Spaghetti' From the writers of 'The Crack In The Cosmic Egg' may have more info about the band and its albums, but it's £25 + postage: http://www.ultimathulerecords.com/fistful.html.

A 124 page digital PDF download of material from the book is available on bandcamp for a fiver though: https://audion1.bandcamp.com/album/a-fistful-of-spaghetti-audion-italian-scrapbook. I don't know if this is the complete work, or just a selection from it.

And that's about all I can do for this particular band and its albums I'm afraid. Cry

Thanks David, line-ups updated. Could you double-check if all is OK?

Also, I was not sure about the live album.

Next one:

Phrozenlight is Bert Hülshoff from Haren, Groningen NL.

I'd just write:
Bert Hülshoff  / all instruments

...and leave it at that lol!

That seems to be what folks have been adding for his other albums. Smile

E&O Team: Looks like Julien fixed it.

I hear you again Eugene!

I probably just wasted the best part of an hour and a half of my life on Perizona Experiment. See my post above lol!

Next three are all by the same band, Perizona Experiment.

Cry
