Questions:
1. "what caused the departure of Bathelt and Palmer" should read "causing the departure of Bathelt and Palmer"
as a quartet they recorded "Old Love Dies Hard", the first non-conceptual album with really good passages, but the difference with "Spartacus" was obvious and they started to loose popularity, what caused the departure of Bathelt and Palmer
 - It seems we can leave it as it is (what caused the departure of Bathelt and Palmer). Or I'm wrong?

2.  ... this really affected Jürgen, who had to gather all his strength to keep the band alive, and what better way than recording a new.
- I see that there is something wrong in "what better way than recording a new", but don't know how to change it. Any suggestions?

1. "causing the departure" or "which caused the departure" -definitely not "what caused"

2.  It should be "what better way than recording anew"

^ Thanks, done: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=392.

Though I can't explain why I still don't like "what better way than recording anew". Please read the sentence again:
"And then, tragedy hit the band, Helmut died in his car by poisoning with carbon monoxide fumes while listening to his latest tapes, this really affected Jürgen, who had to gather all his strength to keep the band alive, and what better way than recording anew".

Recording anew is better (way) than what?
Perhaps it's only my poor English, but I don't understand this phrase.

yeah, reading that again, it could be improved to "and what better way to do this, than recording anew."

^ How about "..., and what better way to do that (i.e. keep the band alive) than recording anew"?

Edit: ninja'd

Thanks, Audun. Definitely it's the same album.
I've changed the year to 2000, changed the cover, mentioned 2014 reissue, added times (following your link I saw they are available in one of the pictures).
Obviously the line-up info is incomplete, so I've added: "-Other musicians / NA"
Good that you noticed the track times in that picture. I didn't notice at all.

Maybe "and what better way to do this, than making new records"? Or "and the best way to do this was making new records"? (I prefer 2nd variant).
Because "recording anew" could mean "re-record old material".

I saw one other correction needing to be made in the Triumvirat bio-

"and with the support of his teammate and cousin Jurgen, he was achieving and other well-known musicians his debut started to take form" should read

an even better read might be "and with the support of his teammate and cousin Jurgen as well as other well-known musicians, his debut started to take form"

The achieving part doesn't make much sense IMO.

It's truly a joke that reviews aren't tagged with a reviews class:

^ Thanks, done.

If we mention the lyricist it's worth to name composers too.
