^ It seems to me the credits are not fully right (and the 1st release  was on 1971 not 1972)
Could you please give the source of your info to make easier the needed confirmation/correction

And BTW, still waiting for your answer to this, below

and the new one I posted today April 13
http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=51936

are in the wrong plays for sure! they need to be under Symphonic Prog as a legit band of a super group with the band members are Steve Hackett, David Jackson, Billy Sherwood, Vincenzo Ricca plus guests on the two albums! the name of the band is "The Rome Pro(G)ject" it is NOT various artists! here is also the bands website http://www.vincenzoricca.it/

^ Mayer, you're quite a long time here and have to know how PA works.

1. The Rome Pro(G)ject is not a supergroup but a project of Vincenzo Ricca with varied list of guest stars (yes, some of them played on both albums).
2. If you think it should have a separate entry please contact Symphonic Team or start a thread in Suggest New Bands and Artists section.

Let say that you are right, then it should be under the name Vincenzo Ricca but in NO WAY it's under VA!!!!
Check the album cover that has the names of the 4 band members! PA many times sucks! I do understand that maybe I need to bring it up in a different form...

^ Even if PA sucks it works how it works.

The cover lists Vincenzo Ricca and, to attract attention, 3 most known names. It does not mean new supergroup was born.

We live in imperfect world, Mayer. Even simple things require more effort than reading 4 names on the cover. If you'd like to include The Rome Pro(G)ject it's more or less clear. In case of (hypothetical) inclusion of Vincenzo Ricca you have to be familiar with his other records (are they symphonic? are they prog? etc.). Routine. Unhappy

^ Thanks, but it's not a compilation. Bandcamp page http://bencraven.bandcamp.com/album/dissected reads:
"After completing my album, Great & Terrible Potions, I began thinking about how I could possibly perform it live.

Upon returning from the hills, still screaming, I fell in with a three-piece band instead. Throwing the original song arrangements out the window, we rehearsed over a period of months, generally late at nights so as to avoid all natural light. Practising the subtle arts of refining and distilling, we pieced together new versions of old and not-so-old songs.

Unfortunately we found ourselves forgetting some of the new arrangements, so we decided to spend a day recording in the studio. This audio release, Dissected, is what happened that day. "

Hi, can someone please update the Nine Stones Close bio, it is out of date? I also posted an updated band pic in another thread, let me know if I should post it here. Many thanks. - Adrian

Updated text below:
-----------------------

Nine Stones Close was conceived in 2008 as a solo project by Adrian Jones (Numb, Lie Big, Jet Black Sea): the first album, St Lo, was independently released in the Netherlands. The project grew into a band for Traces when Adrian was joined by Brendan Eyre (Riversea), Marc Atkinson (Mandalaband, Riversea) and Neil Quarrell.
One Eye on the Sunrise saw a further evolution of the band with returning members Marc Atkinson and Brendan Eyre now joined by Peter Vink on bass (Q65/Ayreon/Star One/Finch) and on drums Pieter van Hoorn (Knight Area). In 2016 a new line up was announced, with Adrian Jones and Pieter van Hoorn now joined by vocalist Adrian (Aio) O'Shaughnessy (Psychic For Radio, Frame Shift), Christiaan Bruin on keyboards (Sky Architect, Mayra Orchestra) and Peter Groen on bass.

Adrian Jones - Guitars, guitar synthesizer
Pieter van Hoorn - Drums & percussion
Christiaan Bruin - Keyboards
Peter Groen - Bass and Stick
Adrian 'Aio' O'Shaughnessy - Vocals

Discography:
St Lo (2008)
Traces (2010)
Falling To Pieces EP (2010)
One Eye On The Sunrise (2012)
Barely Breathing EP (2012)
Complicated EP (2016)
Leaves (2016)

^ Thanks, done.

I only excluded the list of albums from the text because sooner or later it becomes outdated and, additionally, all albums are on the band's page. Please let me know if you don't agree.

And it's a bit strange that 5 musicians are listed while there are 6 guys on the photo: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6141

Thanks, that was quick.
Yes, a good idea to leave off the album list.

... and we are a bit strange Big smile
The sixth member in the photo is one of the guests on the new album ... but let's see what the future holds ...

I don't think Duncan Mackay (http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=4938) should be listed as United Kingdom. He was born there, for sure, but he moves to South Africa as a child and recorded his music there. I think that people finding him under UK would think he was a british keyboard player who made his music in the UK, and that's just not true...

Here's a website about South African prog, it clearly says he made his music in South Africa, not England.

http://www.rock.co.za/files/duncan_mackay.htm
Can you tell me where my country lies?

^ Thanks, but I'm not sure he should be "sent" to South Africa.

Let's follow your link (http://www.rock.co.za/files/duncan_mackay.htm), some quotes and coments:
"Born in the UK, he won the best young violinist in Great Britain award and in 1963 he went to Shrewsbury School on a music scholarship" - UK
"Moving to Johannesburg in 1971" - South Africa
""Chimera" was recorded virtually “live” at Gallo Studios, Johannesburg in April 1974"- South Africa
Then, from 1974 to 1993 he lived in the UK.
"... when in 1993 he returned to South Africa- South Africa

Only the first album was recorded in South Africa, the rest (1977 - 1990) made in the UK.

So I don't think the change is necessary. Additionally, changes like these require genre team's approval (Symphonic team in our case). Please contact Ivan_Melgar_M (Iván Melgar-Morey) if I didn't make you change your mind.

^ Welcome to our nightmare! Smile

That guy is as smart as you mention:
"The basis for ATGCLVLSSCAP – which the band has been working with under the moniker ‘12’ – arrives from recordings made at twelve different live shows that Ulver performed in February 2014"
