I just discovered this cool Indonesian prog band from the 70s called GIANT STEP

I was all ready to suggest them but it seems they were already suggested and cleared all the way back in 2010 and fell through the cracks somewhere

Here's the thread:

Here's the RYM page

And of all here's their best album GIANT ON THE MOVE

^ And - rejoice! - they made a comeback in 2017

Would you care to write the bio and present it to the team (i guess it was Heavy who approved them) ?

Founded in Bandung, Indonesia in 1973 - Disbanded in 1992 - Reformed in 2017

More info below

^ Thanks, Mayer, I see similar info on bandcamp page, but I have no idea what "FistuhlAnahlFistuhlcheAinahalRoyalFistoulchAnalteDuRoiSoeleil" or something like that means.

Can you help?
I prefer to post things I understand (or at least know why I have to post them). Perhaps you help to clarify this.

It's probably the mythical language of the travelling world of Ohreland, which is the fictitious country in which the members of Sebkha-Chott apparently live, only communicating with planet Earth during concerts. The band members have chosen not to reveal their real names, and to hide behind fictional characters. Sebkha-Chott, currently called the Kour Sebkha-Chott, is therefore a set of characters straight out of a mythology invented by the group. This mythology is the only form of communication and appearance of the group, whether concerts, the web, interviews, and even CDs.

Have a read of this (if you dare lol!): https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebkha-Chott.
