There are a couple of issues with the page of the Argentine group Arco Iris:

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=70180 - This album is listed under them but it was actually recorded by a completely different band (different genre and country - Xmas carols for children and Spain) and submitted here for some reason (Discogs shows more information about this).

Then there are these two records: Amigos - 1979 and Fiesta - 1980. Both albums appear as self-released by the band, but aren't listed anywhere when it comes to the band's official discography (neither in English nor in Spanish) - should they be moved to EPs/Singles/Fan Club & Promo section?

^ Thanks, I'll ask admins to delete alien carols.

As for Amigos - 1979 and Fiesta - 1980, I would leave them as they are, at least until we get info that the band planned them as promos.

If Asia Minor is listed as a Turkish band, shouldn't Tai Phong be listed as a Vietnamese band? What do you think?

^ I would say both bands are French or multinational.

Do we need to ask Symphonic Team or we'll leave bands as they are?

^ To change some band's "citezenship", we need Symphonic Team approval.
Julien, do you think it's worth to contact them?

^ In case of Asia Minor, it's not clear whether it's French or multinational. But not Turkish I think.

For Tai Phong, I think France is OK.

But to be honest: 1) I don't know these bands, and 2) I'm always unsure about the "origins" of a band when members come from different countries.

In short: YES, we should contact the Symphonic team about Asia Minor (but not about Tai Phong, except for citing them as an example).

I don't think the origins of musicians should be considered but the country where they record now. In the case of Asia Minor. those are Turkish musicians who work in France. On their Facebook page, it's Turkish-French, which means multi-national, but I would prefer to move them to simply French.

Louis, does it mean that Symphonic Team (in your face) agrees to change Asia Minor country from Turkey to France? Wink

Sorry writing from mob. Band ANEKDOTEN and their boxset/compilation album Chapters. There's a track missing at the tailend of Cd 1. It is called 'When I turn'.
