Let's leave it as it is (until we get correct info or forever Smile).
Agreed. A three-track sampler with four pieces of music on it doesn't quite ring true, and only discogs seems to have that alternative cover. The other sites I looked at all matched ours.

^ It won't be a problem. You always quote a section from my original post when you report that you've corrected the albums, so it's still easy to spot that they've been dealt with, even if several other posts have occurred in this thread in the meantime.

I'm out of the loop. I thought Bandcamp always offers FLAC downloads. Why change that information?

^ Because bandcamp offers downloads in other formats (mp3, sometimes wav etc) and streaming as well. "Digital album" looks more universal.

^ Indeed.  You can download in any (or all) of the following formats on bandcamp: MP3 V0, MP3 320, FLAC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, ALAC, WAV and AIFF.

By saying "FLAC download - bandcamp.com" on all these pages it implies that this is the only format you can download the music in.

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=71010 - In the Line-up / Musicians section it currently says
- Robert Reed / everything, which isn't really true.

Cursus 123 430 is a concept album, written by Reed‘s sometime collaborator Les Penning, who also acted as narrator on the album. Reed also commissioned acclaimed artists Matt Rooke and Peter Rogers to construct a graphic novel as a companion to the music. Full info (including a list of the keyboard instruments used in the making of the album) can be found on discogs here: https://www.discogs.com/Robert-Reed-Cursus-123-430/release/16186713.

As well as the DVD included with all versions of the CD, a bonus disc special edition of the album is available too, which includes 'Cursus – A Symphonic Poem', a nearly 19-minute version of the album in classical music format, a  20-page 'Cursus' 11 x 6 inch companion book, including renowned artist Matt Rooke’s graphic illustrations, a detailed descriptive novella from Les Penning and some studio photographs.

Special Edition, Bonus Disc only:

TRACK LISTING:
1. Cursus - A Symphonic Poem (18:44)
2. Stone Glow Warning - Sanctuary Remix (4:49)
3. Man Of Sight & Feathers - Single Remix (5:37)
4. Stalemate - Single Remix (3:18)
5. Witness - Piano Demo (3:05)
6. Man Of Sight & Feathers - Piano Demo (4:02)

Total Time 39:35

See: https://www.caerllysimusic.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p4148.html for a description of the special edition package (and https://www.musicwaves.org/frmReview.aspx?ID=19414&REF=ROBERT-REED_Cursus-A-Symphonic-Poem for confirmation of the track times).

The basic edition, with a description of what you get, is on sale here: https://www.progrock.co.uk/reed-rob-cursus-123-430-cddvd-c2x32983728.

- E&O Team: Thanks, DVD info added.
'Cursus – A Symphonic Poem' already added as EP: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=71011.
The link https://www.caerllysimusic.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p4148.html seems to be dead, so little I can say about special edition with A Symphonic Poem.

Edit: Fixed dead link. Embarrassed

It was a reissue of the 1983 self-titled debut album with three extra tracks: 'Equilibrio Vital ‎– Equilibrio Vital (Tributo A Marcos Chacón)'. Jose mentioned it in his re-working of the original album details, but the date he gives (2004) doesn't match discogs (2002): https://www.discogs.com/Equilibrio-Vital-Equilibrio-Vital-Tributo-A-Marcos-Chac%C3%B3n/release/4301915. However, Amazon do say it was released by Musea in 2004 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tribute-Marcos-Chacon-Equilibrio-Vital/dp/B0000E6LS4) though RYM say it was released by them in 2003 (https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/equilibrio-vital/tributo-a-marcos-chacon/).

A bit confusing about the release date of the reissue, but basically I think this 'DUPLICATED' album needs to be deleted from the Boxset & Compilations section by our admins. ProgLucky must not have had the privileges to do so himself, and must have forgot to inform admins (or they forgot to do it after he'd informed them). I'd be tempted to leave the original album as it is, since it covers the details of the re-issue (though the re-issue does have the slightly different album cover).

Edit: Track 2 of the original Vinyl LP, 'Tras Del Sol', is not included on the reissue CD. Jose does add the comment 'not on CD' at the side of this track in the details of the 1983 original, but does this missing track make the reissue really a different album after all, and thus needing to be kept as a separate entry, with the different album cover shown?

- E&O Team: Thanks, David, I've edited 1983 album info.
Details:
1. Release date - back cover on Amazon reads 2002: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71cPlKtBZ5L._AC_SL1225_.jpg
2. ProgLucky doesn't visit PA since 2015 and I've read somewhere in the forum that in early days of PA different collabs were adding albums using his nickname (I don't remember why).
3. As I wrote below, duplication reported to almighty admins.

^_^ Original entry is here: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=13964
The album Julien found has to be deleted.

I often mark duplications this way:
DUPLICATION SOON TO BE DELETED

PLEASE DON'T RATE OR REVIEW

Usually I PM admins at the same time.
Now I can only guess why it was not deleted (I forgot to PM, admins forgot to delete or Jose marked it in my way and forgot to notify the men of power). Confused
Edit: But I never change titles, highly likely Jose sentenced it to death but forgot his gun (or axe).

Julien, David, thanks, reported.

1. Release date - back cover on Amazon reads 2002: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71cPlKtBZ5L._AC_SL1225_.jpg

I hate these confusing release dates! Could it be that the back cover date on Amazon may just refer to the copyright, since both Wikipedia and Proggnosis seem to think the album was actually released by Musea in 2003?

Proggnosis also have it in their Compilation/Boxed-Set category rather than as a studio album. Confused

Such a difficult job sometimes getting the genuinely correct info for some of these old albums. Cry I don't envy you at all doing the E&O job on PA - it must be a full time job in itself!

Edit: RYM also give 2003 as the date of release (see the link in my first response) and Musea's own page for the album, although not actually giving a release date, says: "Its first eponymous album was originally issued in 1983, and is now re-issued by Musea with some new tracks recorded between the year 2000 and 2003 as bonuses. With the name "Tributo A Marcos Chacon", different from the original one, the group wanted to pay tribute to its guitarist who died in 2001."  I guess the album couldn't have been released in 2002 if the new tracks were recorded between the year 2000 and 2003, and Babyblaue's review of the CD also says 2003, but just to confuse us again, apple music say "Publication January 27 2004".

I give up now lol!  LOL That Wikipedia page looks pretty thorough though - even if it doesn't quote the actual sources of its information.

- E&O Team:
Thanks, let's take the year in-between, i.e. 2003. LOL

Strange - it displayed OK in the Pop-up box when I added the hyperlink. I'll try again...

Edit: That's better! Don't know what went wrong 1st time. Embarrassed

^ Not a problem. It seems there is still the line: 2. Tras Del Sol - not on 2002 CD in the original 1983 album tracklist, which needs to be changed to 2003 - then you can delete this post as well to keep things a bit tidier here.

Are there many enemy ships left on the horizon?

I have two bunches of 50 ready prepared for when Bunch 24 is done, twenty in the bunch to follow those two (when it's been made up to the full quota of 50), and then another 50 or so fresh pages to follow up on, each of which will yield at least one more enemy ship for you to torpedo (und usually it's several, not just the initial one which Google's radar located). The enemy fleet must surely now be considerably weaker than it was a week ago, but they still seem to have a fair few reinforcements standing by in the harbour!

Here's Bunch 24:

An atomic bomb dropped on the harbour would certainly be a useful tactic, but unfortunately we don't have that weapon available to us! We've just got to keep picking them off one by one as they set sail! LOL

- E&O Team: Thanks, done.
