Topic: Lunatic Soul Posted: November 16 2011 at 21:02 |
Having received Impressions in the mail today, I've gone back and listened to the first two albums along with the new, mostly instrumental Impressions. Hard to compare I & II with Impressions since they sound a little bit different, but they all nonetheless have that "Duda feel" to them. Which is your overall favorite?

Haven't heard Impressions enough times to vote, but between I and II, I prefer the latter.

I haven't listened to it enough to have a complete opinion, but like it quite a bit so far. It has a lot more ambience than the other two albums, but it still feels like a LS release. A really solid album.

Hmm more ambient? That must be quite an airy album.

I guess without lyrics, it sounds more ambient, but after hearing it again, I take that back. While it is ambient in parts, there's quite a bit going on. And again, a good addition to Duda's solo catalog.

Brand new album Fractured is another masterpiece from Lunatic Soul.
I have all their albums and there's no dud in their collection. Really love this band a lot. Highly recommended indeed.
