Been listening to some Beardfish, and I think Coup de Grāce might be my favorite song by them, overall. There's something about that main melody that gets me every time. It's funny because it's instrumental.
New Beardfish album in August, guys!!!

I would also like to take this opportunity to say that Beardfish's second album "The Sane Day" is really good. I don't own it,
but I'm listening to it on Spotify. Very underrated compared to their
subsequent 4 albums.

I only have Destined Solitaire, but from that it's "Where the Rain Comes In".

Probably the Sleeping In Traffic epic, but I've also really grown to love the little ballads like Afternoon Conversation and Dark Poet.

I like Afternoon Conversation. One of the first things that stuck out when I listened to SIT1 the first time. There's something about the SIT albums, they're very Phish influenced (and by extension, Zappa).
Listening to Mammoth again. "Tightrope" is so good, as is, of course, "And Then The Stone Said: If I Could Speak". Epic.

Finally started listening to Destined Solitaire more, which I had only listened to once before when I posted on this thread, but I have to say Until You Comply is most definitely my favorite Beardfish song now. I just can't stop listening to it, it's the best song they've ever done. (With Sleeping in Traffic as a very close second)

Rikard Sjoblom mentioned in an interview (don't ask me to find it) that after the new album they're seriously considering re-recording The Sane Day and maybe even the debut. I would be very interested in that, though I've never heard the debut I always thought The Sane Day suffered from poor production and I also though Rikard Sjoblom's voice was not as nearly as good as it was on later releases. So I really hope they do re-record it afterwards.

Interesting, I didn't know that. I'm always a little wary of a band re-recording a past album. I've always wanted Dream Theater to re-record their debut, but they're too far into their careers for it to matter. I guess Beardfish are still a young band so if they're going to re-record their first 2 albums, I wouldn't wait much longer. I also haven't heard their debut yet.
