If you put that poll *someone* would vote against SB. If you replaced them with TMV someone would vote against them. People are silly.

.......and there you have it in a nutshell The hype for Porcupine Tree on ths forum far outweighs their actual talent. It's like the hype for Coldplay in the mainstream world. I do actually really like both bands but having seen both of them 5 or 6 times, Spock's Beard (with Neal Morse) were the better live band. So, it's The Beard for me. |

Spock's Beard is better than the walloping they are taking here IMO. Porcupine Tree is a tad overrated by this forum IMO. It'll be interesting to see what happens if Marillion goes up against them. Two rabid fan bases square off
