Where are all the Beardniks hiding?  Shall we let the PT cultists and Steve Wilson freaks run away so freely?  Is that why Darkshade is calling the thread stoopid?  Or is it because the Tree is crushing the Beard?  PT does have a good chance at winning the whole shebang here, but I hate to see them taking this round so easily.

I don't understand why PT is so universally popular. I mean, I like them. But why are they a band that automatically get up-voted to the extreme? It's not like they're the only popular modern prog band.

It's because they, unlike other popular modern prog bands, have both mainstream poppy material and music that is genuinely interesting
