Many samples on MySpace, that's always good. I'll notify the Neo Prog team.

Hmmm...they appear to be in 'no man's land'...

Transperception

DateUserChartAction
2MDamoXt7942Neo-> Move
2MDamoXt7942Neo (DamoXt7942)
2MDamoXt7942Neo (DamoXt7942)
2MpsarrosNeo (psarros)
2MlazlandNeo (lazland)
2MlazlandNeo-> New

 I'm guessing the move would be to Crossover chart, but it doesn't appear to have happened as yet...

Edit: I said 'they' - I should really have said 'he'...Transperception is actually a band project that only consists of one person, Djam Zaidi. He sings and plays all instruments himself, being a bit of a wiz on the computer too, it seems.

"Transperception for Crossover" means that one of our members (Svetonio) has heard your album, and thinks it should be added to the progarchives database, which intends to be a complete reference to as much of the notable progressive rock music that has ever existed in The World as possible. "Crossover" is the name we give to one of the sub genres of progressive rock, and "Neo" is another. Our forum monitor has reviewed Svetonio's proposal, and thinks your music is more suited to the Neo sub genre than to Crossover, so he has asked the team that looks after the Neo part of the database to check out your music in the first instance. Their job is then to either decide to accept it and give your band a dedicated page on the progarchives website, or possibly ask another team (probably the Crossover team) to check it instead. If they don't think the music is progressive rock at all, then they will simply vote 'reject', and that will be the end of the matter (at least until new material is released, when a re-evaluation can be done).
In your case the Neo team has decided the music is not suitable for the Neo Prog sub genre, and has voted to 'move' the proposal so that it can be checked by another team, but I couldn't see from the chart we use (on a website called progfreak.com) just which team they had moved it to. It may be that the move has been accidentally overlooked, but one of our collaborators will now check to see what has happened here, and will update this thread shortly.

Don't worry, it means nothing special LOL I'v been told that when I suggest an artist / band, I have to suggest the sub-genre too LOL This is because PA don't have the tags, and, also, it is nice for us to have something for chat Cool

Anyway, your stuff is very very nice, congrats Transperception! StarStarStarStarStar

PS Welcome to club LOL

Hehe, being from Czech Republic, knowing Kafka by heart is a must here.

Anyway, the situation sometimes seems like that. Maybe even similar to Catch XXII perhaps, but fortunately, we allow happy ends here and you won't possibly end like hero of "The Trial".

We have added you to the chart and we'll see what we can do, alright ?

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"
