It's a bit pop sometimes but this guy has it's moments on the first two albums. "End Of The Beginning" is the first  song that caught my ear so you may want to skip to that one if you're in a hurry and "La Terre" isn't bad either. His third album is a lot more in a pop style.

Whoah, absolutely wonderful stuff. Best suggestion in a while.

I'll recommend the band to the Crossover team. I find the music to be a great mix of WYWH-era Pink Floyd especially and VdGG, Mike Oldfield or Genesis. The experimentalism is well balanced with the emphasis on melody, which takes precedence though.

Cool! I don't know if you have trouble with artist description but I have this though:

MICHEL ZACHA once took part to HAIR and SUPERSTAR; he signed on PATHE MARCONI and released 3 LP's ("La Nuit des cigales", "Le Vol d'Icare" and "Inutile", three albums set as a trilogy) between 1973 and 1977. He recorded with the finest French musicians in the jazz/songwriting/progressive music area, such as BERNARD LUBAT and JEAN-PIERRE ALARCEN.
