Topic: Triumvirat Live at Chalmette, LA release? Posted: October 14 2013 at 08:54 |
I have finally heard this rarity. Soundwise, not too bad, better than the Dan Lampinski Providence, RI boot, but not quite as good as the Triumvirat Live Tour 74-75 boot. Helmut's English vocals sound a bit more American than on the studio Illusions album, where he almost sounds British in parts. At the beginning of the Mister Ten Percent suite, when Jurgen Fritz does some solo piano, he inserts some music not on the studio Illusions album version, with a bit of music included that later appeared on "A Day In A Life" from 1976's Old Loves Die Hard album. Also cool to hear Helmut introduce the Mister Ten Percent suite in the middle of the concert.

Does anybody know if the rare live recording of Triumvirat at the St. Bernard Cultural Center, Chalmette, LA, USA on Nov. 1st, 1974 where they play the music from the Illusions On A Double Dimple album will be released officially?
