Of the two, I would go for Heavy Weather, mainly for Birdland, but I also believe Palladium is Wayne Shorter's personal peak.

Like many others, I don't think either of those albums is WR's high point.  For me, the high point is Mysterious Traveler.  Approve  

Of those two albums, I prefer Heavy Weather.

Black Market was my gateway to fusion, but I haven't listened to it in years and I don't know if I'd like it that much today, when I'm a fan of their early era (the debut especially). But still I can vote easily in this poll for Black Market, for the same reason as Jon's.
