I'm gonna go with Agalloch on this one because I've been listening to them longer and I really like the cold, snowy atmosphere they impart to their songs. Moonsorrow are an excellent band though. I actually just got into them and am listening to their back catalog.

Moonsorrow, though I'm not a huge fan of either.

Is this Moonsorrow recommended to an Agalloch fan?

Just stay away from Suden Uni, despit the high ratings I find it to be their dullest album.

Agalloch. Moonsorrow's music is even sillier than their name.
