none would probably be the right answer, but I chose Wakeman. Journey makes me always smile ...

I haven't actually heard Spiral, but I'm voting for it on the grounds that NOTHING could be worse than Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

We could always journey to center of the earth in a spiral...

I'll always have a soft spot for journey.  One of my first prog albums before I was seriously into prog.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Too different. A bit pretentious symphonic opera vs a little experimental electronic.
I enjoy more the Wakeman's live, but if it was vs another album i,e, Heaven And Hell I would have gone for the second.
Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

Journey is probably my least favourite Wakeman album. I would rather listen to Country Airs.

Spiral is well up there as one of Vangelis best albums. The title track is amazing while To The Unknown Man is beautifull. Dervish D is also great. The slightly jokey album artwork is also very appealing.

Spiral by far.  As Vangelis quotes Lao Tzu, "To go is to go far."
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

Maybe having your scrotum licked by a hungry Tyrannosaurus Rex might be worse, I agree.
