This is apparently a track they recorded for what was to be their 3rd album, based on Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha. But only Bardens wanted to base it on this book; the others wanted to use The Snow Goose and he was outvoted. The result we all know.
But did they record any other tracks for the original project? Do they exist? Can you get hold of them?

I'm listening to it right now. It's a nice slice of smooth pop and refreshing to hear new material from their best era. There's a link to another track called Autumn, which is apparently from the project as well.
It's funny how the colors of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on the screen.

Bands should release boxes wit his kind of material, instead of releasing compilations with the same songs they been playing since the early 70's......I don't need another version of Starship Trooper, Soon or Mood for a Day.
Not a fan of Camel, but I would buy an album with previously unreleased material.
Exactly, Ivan....with all the rehashes, remixes and remakes, why not dig stuff up from earlier stages and make them public. Love 'em or hate 'em - I dig how the Grateful Dead continually puts out live shows from all periods at affordable prices. Pick and choose and explore different faces of your favorite bands.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

found this too
Both are better than half the tunes on Mirage and Snowgoose. I don't like lady fantasy apart a couple on minutes at the start but the rest is just blande rock music. Any more rare songs around?
