There are too many people with too much time on their hands, certainly. Pointless polls are p*****g me off.

Cross-Eyed Mary by a lot. Don't care for Knife-Edge. Strange comparison, but why not.

How much of Knife Edge is original again? Oh yeah, none of it.

Well, main riff = Janacek. Lake's melody = Janacek, although obviously not the lyrics. Middle section = Bach. I suppose Carl Palmer's drumming is original.....

Knife Edge is one of those ELP songs I don't quiet like so much. Cross Eyed Mary is pretty cool.

Its a very original track but the problem with it for me is how disjointed it is. The middle section is just random. The lyrics are an attempt at doing 'dark' which never quite worked for me (similar to Living Sin). Never been one of my favourite ELP tracks.

Knife Edge because the main theme is borrowed from Leo Janáček, my famous compatriot.
