There have been some horrendous album covers over the by certain bands. But collectively (all 2 of them) were put out by Toe Fat.

Prog connection: Ken Hensley, Lees Kerslake and John Glascock all palyed with this band. Have they ever been nominated to be put on PA?

Anyway here they are below. Please contribute some more collective shockers from any artist.

Those are pretty gross.  Never even heard of that group.  Even their band name is kinda icky. Dead

Thanks for sharing.

Gross band, Toe Fat... but intriguing - what type of music do they churn out?

Birth Control come to my mind. Here a few album covers, including the infamous first one (with the human embryo in the trash bin).

Oh yeah, Birth Control!  Their covers are terrible.  Cool band though.

Apologies ACR I have been out of commission for few weeks. OK, Toe Fat, how would you describe them......Fairly standard fair late 60s early 70s rock. Really they are only of historical interest but the first album is intriguing in parts. Glascock's bass is very prominent, Hensley is mostly in the background; featuring on vocals only on one track....which is incidentally the best. The lead singer Cliff Bennett is not to my liking...Hensley would have done a much better job.

A few tracks on Toe Fat 2 have prog leanings but on the whole it's a stinker (Imho). See whether you can track these 2 albums and judge for yourself.
