Hi guys,

I was wondering why these artists weren't listed here

First, Alain Caron from Uzeb is an amazing fusion player

And the collaboration between Greg Howe, Victor Wooten and Dennis Chambers called EXTRACTION

I think that they both deserve their place on the site

What do you think ??

Ive have the Howe Chambers Wooten album, and though it has a couple moments, I wouldn't really call it prog jazz fusion. It's too funky. I love it though, one of my favs.

As for Alain Caron, Ive heard 2 of his albums "Rhythm n' Jazz", and "Se7ion". Both are fusion, but not proggy enough, though Se7ion (which is from 2010) is actually pretty prog, sometimes sounding like RTF, but with more groove. On second thought, maybe Alain Caron should be added. I don't know enough of his albums to say he truly belongs here.

The thing is, the jazz-rock/fusion section is only for those who were most prog, or influenced the genre widely. There are tons of fusion albums Ive heard that are absolutely great, but are not on this site.

If you really want to explore more fusion, I'd say come on over here http://www.jazzmusicarchives.com there is a lot of fusion discussion in the forums.

Greg Howe is under evaluation.

And I love those Alain Caron tracks.  I'll add his band as well.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

I noticed that album (or band?) got a lot of praise when I was doing some research on him. I'll probably be checking that out soon enough.

Alain Caron has been cleared.
Help with a bio will speed up his addiction.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

^ Nice.

I don't know much about Alain Caron, so I can't write up a bio.

Alain Caron added at last.

I noticed that he had been under consideration back in 2007, and just got lost.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
