Hello, Ive been following Prog Archives for quite some time now and thought its about time I signed up to the forums!
Feel free to check out my Alt Prog rock band In Oceans. We have just recorded our 2nd EP awaiting to be released And can find tracks from that and our first self titled demo here.  http://inoceans.bandcamp.com/

Thanks! They're both huge influences especially the Mars Volta. We listen to a lot of Yes and Gentle Giant too.
Shouldn't be too long before the new EP is released we are just waiting on printing on art work and what not.
