Supper's Ready is my favorite piece of rock music. Neither is or can be objectively better.

Lizard for sure. Supper is fairly good but is does suffer from some pretty cheesy Gabriel lyrics. The song goes a bit silly after a while too. I prefer Watcher, Timetable and Coastliners

Supper's has a better singer, plus it's the best piece of music ever written...

I find Lizard much more satisfying.  I once really liked Supper's Ready, but that was quite a few years ago and my tastes have changed quite a bit since then.
Just a fanboy passin' through.

Mine too.
I love both, but Lizard takes the number one spot on this.

lizard is great. anything created by KC is superb, but supper's ready is more accomplished. there are passages in lizard that doesnt make the song weaker, but definitely are not strong. on the other hand, supper's ready is amazing from start 'til the end. so, supper's ready gets my vote here.

Lizard for me.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me

I like Lizard a ton, but I think Supper's Ready pays off way more for its length. Lizard just sort of dies out at the end, while Supper's Ready's best parts are the last 6 minutes

I'd like some lizard for supper, with maybe a little lamb and lark's tongue.  Tongue

Lizard!

Why?
1) It's King Crimson.
2) Supper's Ready (despite of the others) never touched me, it seems too shattered to me.

Never been convinced by Lizard's excruciating transition from straight to swung time in 20 minutes, much prefer Supper's Ready as a brilliantly arranged medley of songs/instrumental segues.

There's nothing particularly going on during the Lizard suite. Side one of Lizard is much more interesting IMO. Just because a piece of music is 20 minutes long doesn't mean you can compare it to Suppers Ready.

"More economical tracks". Interesting idiom, especially about music...LOL
