I don't know, I think the cooler the cover art the better the album. Big smile
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Mystical Adventures is arguably my favorite Ponty album.  Storytelling is also a very good return to a more traditional jazz approach, while Fables and The Gift of Time, among others, exhibit his embrace of new electronic technologies, something he also did in the 70s.  All of this is good stuff.

I feel like I can't vote in my own poll until I get a copy of Civilized Evil.  I've heard it before but it surprised me I don't have a CD of it. Embarrassed
