currently listening to the playlist. I quite liked the konchordat track. Asia is currently on air, I am not a fan (I love AOR - FM, Push, Heart, Distance, Signal... - but in the case of Asia, I think they have too much "so-so" songs and not very memorable choruses in their songs) however, that "open your eyes" has some good moments.

About Abel Ganz : it's a shame that Alan Reed doesn't sing on this song.
Next on to Steve Thorne, I remember this song, from an album featuring a host of quality guests, among which Tony Levin. In the vein of Martin Orford's pop-prog stuff.

Blind Ego : discovering them, vocalist reminds me of Orphan Project's one, and Stiltskin's (later with Genesis) which is a good thing, music sounds a bit "emo" in the choruses.

Frost* : a good example of successful blend of pop and prog. Key work and choruses remind a lot of Mind's Eye.

DutchProg, I would suggest to alternate between the different prog sub-genres : some folk, some jazz-rock, some tech death, some ambient/electronic, some post-rock, some classic rock, some world-inflected prog, some avant-garde...Not just pop-prog.
