Band is from Big Rapids, Michigan, USA. Previously mentioned on here by PhideauxFan in Bandcamp Recommendations forum at the end of December last year: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=69197&PID=4393247#4393247. Eclectic prog, much influenced by Frank Zappa. Definitely worth evaluating for a place on here.

i would be interested to read some opinions about this band since i think they are not so easy to evaluate since they are a bit all over the place and but also would be of interest for more then one of the teams,

Now showing in Crossover chart: http://progfreak.com/Ultraviolet-Hippopotamus-151985.html?path=pa/recent. No votes cast yet, but as aginor says, it won't be a straightforward decision due to their very variable style. Small matter I know, but country of origin has been entered on progfreak as Canada, but all evidence I have seen suggests that they hail from just south of the border, ie. Michigan, USA.

They sound very much like Phish. And like Phish they have similarities to... umm... errr... you know... that band that must not be mentioned... |
|
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
