Secret Oyster - Straight to the Krankenhaus Just "Leda and the Dog" for now... just had a strong urge to hear that song.

Looks like they've reissued all the Crass albums, but with different album covers. Dang, I loved the original covers. This one looks like a post-rock album now.

I am a huge Karsten Vogel admirer and love just about everything he has ever played on - be that Burnin Red Ivanhoe, Secret Oyster, Taylor's Universe and T. Free Universe, the guy is like a Danish version of Mel Collins. He has literally never made a bad peep on record.
About Tasavallan Presidentti. If you haven't heard it yet, then you definitely need to get a hold of their Lambertland. This one feels to me like a true fusion masterpiece that absolutely reeks of the quirky Canterbury sound.
Nice meeting you HolyMoly.

Lambertland.... made a note of it, will check out, thanks! Ditto for the Taylor's Universe and T. Free Universe, neither of which I previously knew existed, but if Karsten's on it, I'm there!
Just had a Denmark flashback - my first concert ever (age 13) at the Odd Fellow Palais in Copenhagen. Who was the band? Camel! My father and I were and are still big fans.
Glad to make yr acquaintance too, David. Steve

Odd Fellow Palæet? Damn, then you've practically stood in my backyard I used to live there! The world is a small place... Regarding the act: I really like those first couple of albums from Camel - Mirage being my fave, although a record like Nude also strikes me as being pretty good, especially when you count in what other prog rockers were conjuring up in the start of the 80s.
I saw you just popped on Secret Oyster's Krankenhaus earlier and I love that one too. I think I am going for an old favourite myself. This one is arguably the best prog record from Denmark(also comes highly recommended from no other than Julian Cope) - sounding like a bluesier and more psychedelic version of Il Balletto di Bronzo:

My first Zappa LP. Now for something not really a Steve Howe album but rather a Paul Sutin album with SH on it. Can we say false advertising?

I think it was 1982. Were you there then? If so, sorry about the noise.
