My fave from them, although I enjoy everything I have heard from them. What do you reckon Steve - what's their best record?

I gotta say "Wiederhoren".

At least when it comes to their stunning live activities ... this

I really like both of those. Wiederhören goes just a tad further in the melodic fusion department and sounds more sharp to these ears.
KRAAN live is actually an album I've only had in my collection for 2 weeks now - funny you should mention that one Uwe. I think it could develop into a fave in time. Some albums need a little while to marinade.

KRAAN Live is the first one I ever heard, and it blew me away.  Nowadays I prefer the tighter studio albums for day to day listening, but the live album is sure to win over anyone who likes funky jamming. (note: I was a huge Phish fan at the time!)

^true ... I've seen them several times on the stage now starting with the 1970s, and I've been in Wintrup too, my hometown is not far away from their residence at that time
they are still a great live band, although I prefer the old wild times Big smile

Heh, I listened to Junta on my way home from work yesterday. Gotta love that album.
Although, normally I'll pull out a Grateful Dead - Dick's Picks if I'm in the mood for a jamming record. I have one with a 30+ minute version of Dark Star that sends me directly out of the solar system every time I spin it.

Gonna put on Kraan Live tomorrow, when I get off work. There's just something about the first album after a long hard day. I may also spruce it up with a cold beerBig smile

I'd give my right arm to have attended some of the concerts you've been to... Lucky man.
