Wish You Were Here. Dark Side is second, Animals is imho somewhat behind (but still 4+/5).

I'd pick Animals just ahead of DSOTM.
Never been a great fan of WYWH - only Welcome to the Machine really excites me.

Well, I never liked Animals too much (I couldn't express why but it's a fact) and Dark Side always seemed to me a little bit "overhyped" (although it's very strong record). Wish You Were Here has been always the closest to my heart so the winner is obvious. It's strange but on the same level as WYWH I'd count Meddle. Maybe it's because it was probably the first LP I had got in my hands a lot years ago. But it's not in this poll so it was easy for me :-)

Wish you were here has the wonderful divided Shine on You Crazy Diamond, but as far as a the best album Dark Side wins slightly

It's weird but Animals really fell through the cracks sort of and I didn't hear it for the first time until many years after the other two.

Okay there will never be a truer statement than the following one.
Animals = 3 stars
Dark Side = 4 stars
Wish You Were Here = 5 stars, actually 4.5 stars, but it truncates to 5.

I actually took more time to really enjoy Animals, but this is the reason why I now prefer it.

Really don't mind if you sit this one out. My words but a whisper, your deafness a shout.

I never really enjoyed dsotm so much although it has one of the best tracks which I like from Floyd. That is Time and Great gig in the sky. Wish you were here is a classic and one of the greatest albums of all times. I think that welcome to machine is one of the most dynamic song I have ever heard. Animals is an album that I really started appriciated later and has become an amazing experience now. So it is: Wish Animals Dark

Dark side of the Moon, Animals and WYWH. I am tired of "Have A Cigar" and "Wish You Were Here" and "WTTM". I never get tired of Animals or Dark Side.

Dark Side and Wish are about equal, and far superior to Animals, IMO.

Dark Side of the Moon. More to explore than those later ones. The concept is looser, so more mysterious. Wonderful timbres too. The production is surely the best ever. Here is an album that deserves its sales figures.

All three are incredible. Obviously, DSOTM will enter history as an iconic album of its time, whilst WYWH is full of beauty. However, my vote goes to Animals, which I regard as a stunning album, full of genius, and a perfect reflection of the dark time in which it was recorded.
