Could this lead to American Prog Idol?

Heh, pretty sure we'd all watch a show if it was called `So You Think You Can Prog' !

I think I'd be more impressed if they let him do the two Cygnuses.

If only there were shows like that for progressive music as well

Considering the huge probability for epic failure, I think he was ok, another jury (one with proper musicians, for instance) might have given him a chance.

Since the singer likes Rush and comedy, I think it would have been better if instead of trying to sound like Geddy Lee he had done a Woody Allen impression while singing a Rush song.  "I Think I'm Going Bald" might have been a good song choice if he had gone that route.

^ He's always used botox in his lips........but of course Mick Jagger was the first.
