I love both
but I feel the tracks on Free Hand are more masterfully executed (especially On Reflection) so I voted for that. |

Free Hand, my favorite GG LP, finds the band masterfully presenting their monastic, medieval 'roots.' Me like! Just can't top "On Reflection," "Free Hand," "Talybont" and"His Last Voyage" for (re-)creating the feeling of a time LONG gone. Yet, so polished and beautiful!

I agree, but I'll give my vote to The Power And The Glory. It's probably my favourite Gentle Giant album. |

The Power and the Glory is one of the greatest concept albums ever. My review of it is perhaps my best.

I think Power & the Glory is GG's most accomplished album.
I vote for Free Hand.

ARRGH. Two albums I don't yet own from one of my favorite bands... Embarrassing I know.

The Power And The Glory is their crowning achievement for me. An album about politics and leaders and followers that speaks as true today as when it was written.
