Topic: Iron Maiden : psych hard rock vs NWOBHM ? Posted: February 11 2012 at 07:01 |
The first Iron Maiden would be a great band if they don't splited-up.

Lucas, I suspect you of being fond of creating silly polls. What next? Possessed vs. Possessed???

that other possessed is quite good as well, and would probably win in a prog forum.
The aim of such polls is to know whether obscure can win against popular.

But it doesn't work! They don't have the same name.

Ritual and Ballad of Martha Kent are pretty good.......but pretty tough to beat Eddie and the boys!

Never heard of the psych-band, but it sounds interesting! A band with the same name as a heavy metal band, with an album with the same name as Herbie Hancock's 1965 jazz classic!

The psych hard rock one is very nice actually, and much more progressive than the one who is in PA's database.
It's a shame they didn't record more albums after 'Maiden voyage'.
