The Mars Volta - Noctourniquet
Rush - Clockwork Angels
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick 2
Storm Corrosion - Storm Corrosion

I'm rarely adequately informed, so there might be mind-blowing stuff planned to be released this year without me knowing. I've heard rumours of Porcupine tree recording a new album, though.

Hopefully Sleepytime Gorilla Museum's album will finally come out. Um........... I don't know, I can't say I've been too keen on Thinking Plague's new album, neither of Kayo Dot's, which has some to worn out for me pretty quickly. I like Eyvind Kang's new album quite a lot. I usually find out about interesting new albums a few days before or after they come out, so we'll see.

Apart from the world ending- there's lots to celebrateTongue
I'm personally looking forward to the new Astra and a lot of others who have already been mentioned (especially that new Thinking Plague - how is that btw Monsieur Salty?)

I can look forward to listening to Sylvan's January 2012 album, Sceneries, sometime in June or July this year, when Amazon.com have it available in CD form to send to me in Australia (can't afford the 26 EUR to buy from the Sylvan web site and to download the songs off i-tunes is a rip off). If Dream Theater releases another album this year I can look forward to buying the album from my local retail store before it's available to buy in the US or Europe.

It's pretty amazing IMO - I'd say the only one of theirs I've heard so far which I enjoy more is In Extremis but that album's probably literally perfect, so I'm not surprised...still need to hear In This Life, though...

This is a great new...it's a lot of time that Vangelis doesn't release anything official. I thought he was retired.

Mainly hoping for new Tull and Anglagard albums, but miRthkon would be nice as well. And it would be awesome if Subterranean Masquerade showed us that they're still alive (they have to end that amazing trilogy! Pinch)

Actually the DVD is not yet official so I may have jumped the gun a bit. The concert that he gave in Qatar just before Christmas was filmed and I assume will be released in Blue Ray format.
