From SW's official FB page:

The SW band live album "Catalogue / Preserve / Amass" will be available to buy online some time in the next 48 hours, I'll post all the information here at that time. (Posted approx. 15 hours ago)

And from StarsDie.com's official FB page:

We'll let you know exactly when SW's 'Catalogue/Preserve/Amass' CD goes on sale. As far as I'm aware, the only available format will be CD. I was hoping for perhaps a double vinyl or DVD-A release, but I suppose you can't have everything, right? - Rob

The album is now available for purchase here:  http://www.swhq.co.uk/headphone_dust_mailorder.cfm

As you will see, you can choose to have your CD signed for a higher price.

Probably not the best place to discuss it, but if you're trying to get into PT and you like GfD, I would suggest:

Fear of a Blank Planet
The Incident
In Absentia

No need to be sorry.  Let's hope you can get into PT's music more... a truly great band. One of my favorites.

The preorder link is now taken down, until they can take stock of orders. I missed out on ordering one, due to being asleep (in my timezone) when they announced the presale! :(

Hopefully there will be some left over when they've counted the orders
Hello, mirror. So glad to see you, my friend. It's been a while...

Hi,

I haven't heard these yet.

I happen to like PT's latest despite some folks having reservations over it. I do think that it could be turned into a Single Album and that it would have been stronger, but I will not argue with Steven's thinking, or conceptualization of his work.

I do think, that the back section of the band is slowing it down some. I do not think that the drumming or the bass work is actually better than it used to be or could be, or developing any further like Steven has, and Richard has displayed with his synthesizer work. The work is "cleaner" and "better recorded" but is that enough to call it "better", and I'm not sure that is good criteria to make a call on.

At this point I would like to see Steven go it alone a bit ... and get some fresh ideas ... but I have a hard time believing that PT can get better or more interesting doing the same thing again. Something has to give, and I'm not sure that Steven wants to do "The Wall" or go on the road emulating KC1 ... but PT is starting to sound the same.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
