< ="utf-8">I saw this and had to share.........

"Edison's Children is attempting to do something that hasn't been done by a true prog rock band (aka not Radiohead) since Marillion ... get a prog rock single to chart on Billboard in America.

They are releasing their new single "A Million Miles Away" throughout the United States, spurned on by their inclusion to the new trailer for the upcoming docu-drama-dy DeStressed and by their tremendous success on Last.FM and iTunes reaching #1 for Prog Acts by Popularity: Newly Listed Artists: Plays for the past 3 months

The new CD is now on Pre-Order and they're asking everyone to join in on the fight!http://www.edisonschildren.com/  "

I really need to pick this up. I'm a little hesitant because I'm not really a fan of Marillion or most neo-prog in general, but this may surprise me! It seems to making a big stir in the prog community, nevertheless. Best of luck to them in this endeavor!

Also, I'm not a Radiohead fan, but that snipe at them seems a little unwarranted.

I was driving my mom (crazy?) yesterday, and half way through "A Million Miles Away" she said "when that's done play it again".  Well!

it's infectious isn't it?

you just have to hear it like 3-4 times to get used to it... then you can't get enough of it
