Blue In Green was composed by Bill Evans and Miles Davis.  Other favorites of mine here: Jack in the Green, Velvet Green, and Son of Mr. Green Genes.  Special mention to Memories of Green by Vangelis.  Green Onions is oh-so cool.  Check out Roy Buchannon's version for some killer guitar.

In this poll I only know the Tull ones, so I wouldn't vote. But I like Velvet Green very much. I also like Green is the Color, and perhaps the live versions they could have done would have been even better (I have the feeling that the only real early Pink Floyd was the live early Pink Floyd, the studio versions sound like watered down versions of what they really intended to play live).

Polls are pointless, vote for whatever you know and like. LOL Also feel free to suggest any song Green I missed. Wink

That one, but from the poll: Green Face by Eddie Jobson, not because the song itself is exceptional, but because I like The Green Album so much, and I don't get much chance on PA to vote for Eddie Jobson.

I vote for Bill I guess, there are a few pieces on 'Everybody Digs Bill Evans' that predate KOB and are pretty clearly used as source material by Davis & Bill for KOB. Of course, Bill was playing with Davis around 1958 too, just before he did 'Everybody Digs...'

Indeed, why do we even waste our time in this polls

However, perhaps now you would be interested in at least listening to "Green is the Colour" at least on YouTube. Not the best Floyd song, but a very nice one all the same.

Ironically there are two tracks with Gary Green on them and that isn't one of them. But then last time I checked Gary's face isn't green anyway. LOL

I went for Golden Green, a nice Ponty/Grappelli duet.

I obviously drank too much milk this morning - voting for Jethro Tull's Jack in the green, when I really wanted to place my vote on Miles' Blue in Green...

That Miles track is perhaps some of the most sensuous fluid jazz ever to be produced. I once made love to this track, and it was to another human being who also found pleasure in itShocked
