Supper's Ready. The ending would welcome me to heaven, and I my death would synchronize with the fade-out.

I would want to hear rain, nature's music. I read an essay that I believe is called The Face Of Gaia by physicist Freeman Dyson. In It, he describes the feeling right before he thought he was going to die, he said in those last minutes of life he was in a state of bliss where he appreciated everything around him. The green color of the leaves was so vivid and the sky was beautiful. I believe when it comes, death will greet me as a friend too. That is why I would want rain when I die, so I can appreciate nature and the earth. Or Big Big Train.

Going through the pain of losing someone I really connected with Opeth - Damnation, Radiohead - Hail To The Theif, and The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds. It led to me writing some unique stuff as well which helped me let out some emotion.

Have a favorite (infact i would prob. prefer a mix not an album), but it would be in my native language most of it.

Unfortunately my brother chose to end his life a few years ago and at the inquest we heard how people reported hearing him playing Radiohead very loudly in the hours before hand.
I think I'd do the same. I hope this hypothetical situation doesn't arise, it would really ruin my day.

"Epilogue" by Opeth, "The Final Truth" by Lunatic Soul, "Embryonic" by Riverside, and "Epitaph" by King Crimson.
I tend to think about death a lot when I listen to my favorite bands. Not in the suicide sense, but with regard to what I'd like to have played at my funeral.

Heh I know what you mean, my mum has said she wants 'Goodbye Stranger' by Supertramp played at her funeral which I think is an awesome idea. I'm not decided on the matter, but give me a break I'm only 20.

Time - Za Koji Zivot Treba Da Se Rodim..It's a prog band form ex Yugoslavia, and the song is actually about the meaning of life so I guess it would be an excellent one to die to..You should really give it a listen..

There are two things that come to mind that i would like to hear as my "final farewell" that would run about 20 minutes in total
The final movement of Sir Edward Elgar's Second Symphony, and then the song "Playin' This Song Together" from Helmut Koellen's solo album |

I was going to suggest the whole () album by Sigur Ros. It's the most tranquil way I can imagine going out. That album is downright heavenly. |
