Some of the astonishing ignorance I've run into during a variety of
political and religious debates on this forum have left me feeling as
if there are lots of forum members with little or no contact of a race
outside their own ...
I decided to ask this politically incorrect question ... please note
that I do not intend to imply a direct correlation between race and
ignorance ... but simply to provide an explanation for the feeling of
racial isolation that I occasionally get when I make cross-cultural
references ...
For the purposes of this poll ... I've lumped Hispanic and Caucasian
together as white ... that's probably innacurate ... please accept my apologies if that
is indeed the case ....

I'm as white as a baby's buttocks (caucasian baby, not a baby of african decent BTW).
I ussualy wear something to protect me from the sun, so I don't get a tan, ussualy a pillow-cover, with just the eyes cut out for seeing.

I may be Caucasian, but my wife is Chinese, and I have ample work experience with Chinese, Burmese, Indians, Koreans and Malays in addition to other ang moh.

I must multi-racial: 3/4 Walloon and 1/4 Flemish Belgian but having lived in Canada , France Holland and Mexico (10 months). I am caucasian.
Sure there are always many ignorant people to other people's cultures but no more on this forum than other ones.
