I'm supportive of Simon Phillips under JR/F in PA.
Quite obvious when listening to these samples, really. Somehow reminds me of Bill Bruford this.
(aginor, very strategic of you not to mention Toto alongline Mr. Phillips )

Recently, I got interested in John Wetton's album 'Battlelines', very nice AOR, far better than the poor quality ASIA. And guess what, Steve Lukather and Simon Phillips are featured on this album. In the song "right where I wanted to be", Robert Fripp can be heard in the overture. 2 examples of Luke and Simon's mastery : |

a few months ago was Simon Phillips suggest on a PA and we have 2013 and Simon Phillips is not added ..., i think that musician of this caliber have to be for PA a priority for his musical experience and powerfull skills, but that's a question for collaborators ...
