One of my favourites by GG. So playful and whimsical. Thumbs Up

Their best track I've heard so far.

Now listening to ... ahem ... Corrina Bailey Rae, 'Call Me When You Get This'. I just can't put my finger on those strings in the beginning and the end. I was doing this 6-9pm shift in Macy's and heard this.

Right now I'm going back and forth between "Hark! The Ech'ing Air a Triumph Sings" by Henry Purcell and "Vespers of 1610" by Claudio Monteverdi.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

"Heart of Gold" by Neil Young, interspersed with "Old Man".  Someone must have said something that triggered a lyric memory.

edit: ha! I know what it was.  Getting my daughter ready for school, searching for her shoes.  "Keep me searching for my daughter's shooooes / And I'm gettin' old"

What's your number one Genesis track?

Watcher of the Skies.

I actually just posted my entire top 50 in the Top 10 Genesis Tracks thread, under the "Top 10 and Lists" category, if you care to check it out.

Yeah pretty much any song off Trespass will come into mind upon mention.  I've listened to that album more times than I can count.  "And in the darkness of my mind, Damascus wasn't far behind."

Genesis, 'Looking For Someone.'

That's one of those that pop into my head right away if someone mentions it.

Recently I came up with my Top 50 Genesis songs (really, I did - in order, too)  and Looking for Someone, to my mild surprise, came in at #2. Not bad for a "transitional effort".
