Stand straight looking into the future,
walk on - we've each got our own lives.
Don't wait for a guru or tutor,
be strong - it's your place to survive!
Stand straight, looking over your shoulder,
walk on: though it hurts, you're alive.
Don't wait...if you wait it's all over;
be strong - it's your right to survive!

Don't be baffled by the fact that someone stitched the studio version to the live clip.

Well Shakespeare he's in the alley
With his pointed shoes and his bells
Speaking to some French girl
Who says she knows me well
And I would send a message
To find out if she's talked
But the post office has been stolen
And the mailbox is locked...

There was a time when I used to dig this album. Now I think that about half of it is just effortlessly fabricated garbage. How strange. But still, "Four" (an ominous state of mind) and "Seven" (a romantic state of mind) are my favorites.

Now the rainman gave me two cures
Then he said, "Jump right in"
The one was Texas medicine
The other was just railroad gin
And like a fool I mixed them
And it strangled up my mind
And now, people just get uglier
And I have no sense of time...

God, I love that piano intro ... and the vocal melodies. Just love it. The right thing to have stuck in my head.

Saviour Machine--The end of the age.

Beautiful lyrics, strings and vocals. I sing this one regularly in the shower. Good acoustics. Lol

Now the senator came down here
Showing ev'ryone his gun
Handing out free tickets
To the wedding of his son
And me, I nearly get bursted
And wouldn't it be my luck
To get caught without a ticket
And be discovered beneath a truck...
